Prison Break!

One day, I was on my mom's boyfriend's four-wheeler with him. We were going through the fields seeing if there were anymore calves. We went through the first field, and there was one new calf. It was standing over by the fence that separates the fields. Of course, we thought nothing of it, because calves will be calves and wander around.

When we got done checking the second field, which had no calves, I had to close the gate. When I got off of the four-wheeler, it started mooing like you would never believe it was a calf or it was a newborn. It had a gruff voice and kept on mooing. My mom's boyfriend said that the calf was mad. He drove the four-wheeler away and mooed to pretend he was its mother, to get it to go by the other cows. It followed us to the cows, so we left.

Later that day my mom's boyfriend's dad called us and said the calf was in the wrong pen! It had gone over a snowbank into the other pen! Sometimes I wonder if calves do this just to annoy us, have fun, or just to explore. We have over 60 calves, and I have trouble keeping track of them!
